This module introduces participants to the ICT Professional Learning Strategy 2005-2007, and aims to provide participants with a model for whole school ICT professional learning. The target audience for this module is a wide range of participants including members of management teams, ICT coordinators, PD and curriculum coordinators, or individual teachers wishing to comprehensively plan for their own ICT professional learning. This unit will be delivered as 2 X 2hr blocks. |

This module has three distinct focus areas; the Victorian Education Channel, web-based resources and online collaborative projects. Each of these is presented as a resource or approach that can be used: · To support participants in developing Internet-based teaching and learning resources which enhance student learning · To support the development of understanding about key elements for successful web-based learning activities and online collaborative projects To guide participants through a variety of tasks through which they can investigate ways in which web-based learning activities and online collaborative project activities can be developed. This module is aimed at individual teachers, or teaching teams wishing to develop their skills in the use of the internet for teaching and learning. Participants will need a foundation level of ICT operational skills. This unit will be delivered as 2 X 4hr blocks |

This module will explore a range of digital resources such as Learning Federation Objects, and Kahootz, focusing on how these can be used in the classroom. Discussions will centre on areas such as the use of ICT resources to challenge student thinking, for assessment, and how ICT can bring about pedagogical change. This module is suitable for individual or teams of teachers wishing to develop their skills in using digital content and creation in their teaching and learning program. Participants will need a foundation level of ICT operational skills. The unit will be delivered as 4 X 2hr blocks |

This module aims to provide strategies and frameworks to assist participants in the adaptation of their current practises to increase the integration of ICT into their curriculum. It will provide a forum for collegial sharing and evaluation of best practise. This module is suitable for all teachers, as it acknowledges a range of ICT experience levels and provides challenging activities. While the content is suitable for teachers beginning their use of ICT, the collegial discussions within the module would benefit all teachers with a range of eLearning capabilities. There is no prerequisite ICT skills required for this unit. The unit will be delivered as 4 X 2hr blocks. |
