A strong home-school partnership is encouraged and valued at Balwyn North Primary School and there are endless opportunities for parents to be involved in the life of the school and their child’s learning. Regular parent information sessions, learning expos, student-led conferences, music soirees and concerts provide parents with a window into their child’s education.
After 8 years on School Council, I’m genuinely humbled to have been chosen as our School Council President for 2026. The trust our parent community has placed in me is something I value deeply. It’s a joy to work alongside such passionate and dedicated professionals, who consistently champion both strong educational outcomes and the emotional development of our children.
This collaborative approach has delivered meaningful improvements across our school; ranging from a fully renovated library to the modernisation of classrooms and extensive grounds upgrades.
Serving this community continues to be a privilege, and I remain committed to supporting our school’s growth with humility, care and respect.

The PFA is a great way to make friends within the BNPS community, help others, and improve our school for our children. It is involved in a range of activities, from fundraising to social and community events.

The funds raised by the PFA contribute to significant improvements to our school. In recent years, funds have been allocated for installing air-conditioning, renovating our junior toilet block, refurbishing the school library, landscaping the school grounds and resurfacing the basketball courts.
The PFA Committee is elected each year, with positions for President, Treasurer, Secretary and General Committee members. The Committee meets at most once a month and all parents are warmly invited to attend.
